Bratislava at Night

An ongoing photographic study of Bratislava after dark — the city stripped of its daytime bustle, seen in neon, sodium vapour, and shadow.

After midnight the city belongs to a different cast of people. Workers heading home, insomniacs, street cleaners, those who prefer the cool air of empty streets. This series began as a single night walk and grew into a years-long study of the city in darkness.
